mama!
While Joey and I were still dating, we took a photography class at my university. I got a Finance degree, but I was hooked on photography from that moment!
Joey and I got married! I was only 20 when I got married, we were babies! But I wouldnt have it any other way. Love you babe ;)

My third little one was born! Being a mama entrepreneur has it's hard days, but having this business has been the perfect blessing for me to serve and create, as well as raise my sweet babies
2016
I had been photographing friends and family for a few years at this point and decided I wanted to turn my hobby into a business. Weddings and portraits were my specialty.

Time for a rebrand. I started my business as Elly Maria Photography and after a lot of prayer and thought, I rebranded to Bloom Photography. You can read the story behind the rebrand HERE.

The Fun Doesn't Stop There!
Homeschooling my babies is one of the greatest joys of my life. As a working homeschool mama, life can sometimes feel a little hectic and messy. I have learned to embrace the chaos (most of the time) and just enjoy this busy season that the Lord has given me.

Family is truly the "why" in my life. That's why I became a photographer in the first place. I love that my job is literally capturing families interacting, loving, and sharing together on one of the most significant days of your life. Fun fact - I am one of FIVE sisters. Yep... and I am smack dab in the middle at number three. Not to sound bias... but middles are the best kinds of humans ;)

There is truly no sweeter pup than this one right here. Gracie has been through everything with me. She was there to snuggle during our first anniversary when my husband was deployed. She was there by my side during out first few weeks as new parents. Gracie is the kind of dog that will sleep through my kids building a lego town on top of her. She is lazy, wrinkly, kind, and perfect.

I am truly a foodie at heart! My hubs gets me cookbooks as anniversary gifts almost every year and I LOVE IT! Right now, I am working through Magnolia Table (Vol 2) and it is truly amazing. I joke (half joke because this is really going to happen) that after I retire I am going to do a road trip of all the restaurants on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I am a big believer in having a home that is inviting and relaxing with delicious, home cooked food at the table for friends and family to enjoy.
