The funny thing about newborn photos is that they are truly once in a lifetime. There is no going back to capture those sweet moments once the time inevitably passes. Being able to slow down and choose to meaningfully document these tender days (albeit very sleep deprived!) is priceless.
From Wedding To Newborn
Bri and Matt have been my clients since there wedding a few years back, and they are truly two of the best people. (Go check out their wedding blog and see what I mean HERE). Being able to come alongside these two for some of life’s most amazing seasons has been a humbling experience.
Favorite Moments Of Our Session
Let me start with the most surprising part of our session. Before I even entered their home, I heard the wailing. No, no, it wasn’t the baby (or Matt). It was their dogs! The best part, it didn’t bother sweet baby boy one bit. He does even flinch when they are howling! Ah-mazing!
My favorite part about their session is how calm and natural Bri and Matt are as parents. They are both go gentle and go-with-the-flow (Bri was such an amazing bride too!). It was great watching them interact.
I am so thankful they invited me into their home during this sacred time. Sure, the newborn days can feel exhausting, scary, and like they are never ending. But the truth is that it goes by so dang fast. I pray they will look back at these photos and cherish this time.
